Course LINEAR MODELS in Genetic Evaluation
In connection to the conference, 2-days course is organised for starting scientists and students. The course covers introduction into theory of linear models and basic methodology used in genetic evaluation. Traditional pedigree based approaches and approaches exploiting huge number of markers from genetic chips will be demonstrated.
The course consists of active work of participants with computer. The working tool is programming in SAS, mainly in matrix algebra IML.
The course will be taught by Josef Přibyl.
Program will be specification.
For the course, university’s computers or your own computers with SAS can be used.
